Frosted Oak Cup
This cup, the last of its set, was wheel-thrown using off-white stoneware clay. It’s dipped in white and misty green glazes, highlighting the delicate outline of an oak leaf. The design was inspired by time spent in my backyard, searching for the perfect leaf to incorporate into the piece. After finding just the right oak leaf, I used a technique called water etching to bring its shape to life beneath the frosted, winter-inspired glazes.
