About Zhané
I’ve always been a hands-on person, drawn to building, sculpting, and painting. When I discovered a hobby that combined all of these passions, I fell in love. It was the process that truly captured me.
My mind is always buzzing with ideas—dreaming, planning, and creating—and pottery gives me the space to bring those ideas to life. It’s a way to express myself fully, using my hands, my body, and natural materials that connect me to the earth. I love that every piece I create starts with clay—simple, grounding, and full of potential.
Nature has always been a steady presence in my life, helping me express emotions that words often can’t capture. Whether I’m sitting beneath the stars or walking along a quiet trail, I find inspiration all around me. Sometimes it’s as simple as coming across a leaf or a few sticks in a park, taking them home, and exploring how they might influence my work.
This connection to nature brings a sense of uniqueness to each piece I create. The textures, colors, and ideas reflect my experiences—shaped by the day, the moment, and the world around me. No two pieces are ever the same, just as no two days are the same. That’s something I take great pride in.
My pottery style evolves with each collection, reflecting whatever inspires me in the moment. It might feature a moody color palette, watercolor-like effects, or intricate carvings, but what remains constant is my connection to nature and the textures that surround me.
I want my pottery to spark a sense of excitement for those who discover it. I hope each piece feels like something they’ve been searching for—something that resonates with them and perfectly fits their aesthetic, almost as if it was made just for them.
My vision for ZHANÉ CLAY is to one day create a studio where people can experience pottery in a whole new way. I imagine a space where visitors can shop, learn, and sip coffee from a handmade cup—a place that feels both welcoming and inspiring.
